Jenn’s practice focuses on advice and litigation in employee benefits law and employment law matters.  She represents numerous multiemployer plan clients including defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution plans, and health and welfare plans in various compliance areas including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, the Affordable Care Act, and HIPAA. She regularly provides advice on fiduciary issues under ERISA including prohibited transactions, conflicts of interest, plan investments, plan service provider contracts, and day-to-day administrative matters, and represents funds and their trustees in ERISA litigation involving claims for benefits and breach of fiduciary duty.  She represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship including litigation involving race, disability, age, religious, sex and sexual orientation discrimination, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. She has drafted handbooks and policies for employers and provided training to employers on various employment law matters.

 

Jenn is also a frequent speaker on employee benefit topics, including the Affordable Care Act and HIPAA. She presented at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ Annual Conference in 2016 and 2017.

 

Jenn obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in 2007 and her Juris Doctorate from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2011. She joined the firm in 2012 after serving as law clerk for the Honorable Nelson C. Johnson in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She is a member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey as well as numerous federal district and circuit courts.

 

In her free time, Jenn likes to run, surf, hang out with her dog, and dabble in mid-distance triathlons.
