Brian Waerig joined the firm in 2008 after working for 8 years in the Labor and Employment Group at White and Williams, LLP in Philadelphia. Brian began his career practicing labor and employment law and commercial litigation at the law firm of Flamm, Boroff & Bacine in Blue Bell, PA for three years.

 
Brian received his Juris Doctor in 1997 from Villanova University School of Law and obtained an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College in 1994, where he was a member of the track team.

 
Brian’s practice includes employment litigation and consultation in all aspects of the employment relationship. A focus of his practice is helping clients avoid issues before litigation is necessary. He regularly consults with and trains his clients regarding everyday employment issues that arise.

 
When litigation has been necessary, Brian has represented employers in connection with age, gender, race, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, religion and sex discrimination claims, as well as claims involving retaliation, whistleblower laws, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, wage payment laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. Brian also practices in the area of traditional labor law.

 
Brian has an AV rating (the highest rating available) for skill and ethics from Martindale Hubble and has received numerous awards and designations throughout his career.

 
Brian has served as an adjunct professor/seminar presenter for Pennsylvania State University since 2005 and regularly writes articles and gives seminars in the area of Labor and Employment law. In addition to being licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Brian is also admitted to appear before numerous federal courts.
